The loss of teeth usually is treated with dentures and the people, which are having such problems should quickly consult with dentist and doctors. Definitely the dentures care is quite complicated and there is certain mode and behavior of the patients wearing removable dentures.
First, the dentures cause a complains from sense nausea and vomiting. This is usually called “vomiting reflex” and is only the first trouble, which the patient with removable dentures should overcome. Usually this sense is only for a couple of minutes or hours and can be overcome with deeply breathing through your nose and avoid conversation in the first hours after placing the dentures. Also the large salivation is frequently met after placement of removable dentures. This is caused by the foreign body in the mouth, but the organism quickly adapt to the presence of dentures in the mouth. The saliva is normalizing in the first hours of putting the removable dentures, so the patient will adapt to the dentures up to a day.
The embarrassed speech is part from having a removable dentures. This is another feature, which the patient should adapt to. The problem is usually normalizing for a couple of days and the process can be speed up by reading aloud. Once the patient adapt to the dentures the speech is normalizing and the patient will have the normal comfortability. Of course the main problem of the dentures is the nutrition. On the first days of having a removable dentures, the patient has pretty bad nutrition and cannot adapt to the foreign body in the mouth. So it is recommended for one week, the patient to remove the dentures and to eat without them. The full adapting to this is really heavy process and the patient needs of about 3-4 mouth for fully adaption with the dentures and feed with no problem.
