Sciatica disease may cause dental problems

Sciatica is a disease, which is strongly accompanied by a neurological pain in the waist and legs. The people who suffer from sciatica are not only adults, but also younger people. The disease is characterized by stabbing pains in sciatica nerve in any attempt to stand up, sit or lift anything heavier. The pain moves from back to hips and legs and often is quite afflictive. The constriction of the nerve makes the patient, who suffers from the disease almost unavailable for moving feeling terrible pains in the back and legs. Back pain worsens with sneezing, coughing and sharp bending head to chest. The same effect is obtained by stretching of the the sciatic nerve. Often the pain is accompanied with numbness in the legs.
Sciatica is caused by a pinched nerve in the spine, causing pain and down to the seat and one leg. Often the disease is caused by the fact that the sciatic nerve is shrunken. Pinching the sciatic nerve, however, is a rare form of the disease sciatica. In 80-90 percent of sciatica cases are due to the formation of bone spurs and herniated disc. Less common causes of sciatica are rheumatism, asthma, alcoholism, diabetes.
Usually the Sciatica and the dental are not connected by the heavy pains in the sciatica nerve may cause problems to the nerves pf the teeths. You can also feel pains and some discomfort of your teeth without having any carries. Definitely the dental problems might be only a symptom of any other disease, or heart problems.
